Pearson graduated Piqua High School in 1998 and Otterbein College in 2003 with a degree in Economics. He enlisted September 7, 2006 in the United States Army Reserves with a desire to serve his Country and further his education. Corporal Samuel F. Pearson died in the line of duty proudly serving as a Specialist in the United States Army stationed in Baghdad, Iraq in 2007.
